US Gun Statistics


Each year in the US there are 30,000 gun deaths and 400,000 gun assaults.

If you own a gun you're 22 times more likely to shoot a family member than an intruder.

I don't care what the NRA says.

Guns kill people.

Often good innocent people.

And good animals, too.

End of story.

  3. people will always kill people even without guns. they would use whatever "tool" is easily available. be it a rock, knife, baseball bat, car, explosives or bare hands.

    guns just happen to be the most effective at least on a personal level. i think the IED or suicide bomber may become the weapon of choice.
